Structural Analogs, 2011
  • Painted Welded Aluminum
  • 17’ H x 3’ W x 3’ D

Vertical abstract sculpture creates a strong and natural attraction and has a long history of showing strong force or dominance. This piece is a symbol of the forms that arise from technology.

Structural Analogs is made of welded aluminum in both the orange sculpture and the red-brown column. Its base is strengthened by a bolted steel plate.

Structural Analogs was shown in the 2014-2015 annual Chicago Sculpture Exhibit at a site in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
